First match for the first of two teams in this age group! Energy levels high and our young ones eager to start!

First match came up and there were a few nerves to start of with... but with their pressure came a great Casper performance in goals. He was saving everything! Leo was doing well at the back putting his body in front of everything! Commitment was great. In the end, the opener finished in a 1-3 defeat with Alex scoring our only goal with a calm finish.

The second match came along and from the start there was non-stop pressure. Intensity was great makig it possible to come back from 0-2. Oscar and Alex scored the equalisers and again great performances with the pressure from Lili, Leo and Alex.

The final match was in between the first two. Concentration levels were a bit off but they still showed great fight. Jimmy scored our only goal in a 1-2 loss but overall a great performance and great attitude by everyone and especially Lili, who was our girl of the match!

The second group of youngster were a bit more nervous than the first group. We never got going and a good opponent punished our every mistake. In the end, a 11-0 defeat but with highlights from Kwinton and Can!

The second game was much better! Can was denied y the post to equalise the game but we fell short again.

The third game was the best! Leave the best for last! Regardless of the result, they were fantastic. Energy levels like in training and it showed! Kwinton had a magnificent free kick wrongfully disallowed, that had put the parents in a frenzy! Can and Jack as goalkeeper performed very well throughout the final match!

A lot to learn from their first match day. They will undoubtedly do better and better!

2nd Match Day - 20.01.2018

The youngest age group of this season’s Winter Cup had their second match day. With the teams reshuffled again the first Buda Juniors team of the day did a fantastic job! In the first game already you could see that the guys are very focused and up for any challenge. Two Eidhagen goals sealed the 2-0 win in the first match, first Oscar then Oliver scored against Csillaghegy. The second game against Pomáz was a hard fought match and although the opposition won 2-0 the guys did their best and never let their spirit drop for a second. After a two match break you might have thought that it would be a slow start into the third game but the guys made it clear really quick that there can be only one winner! Kwinton was a rock in defense, Lili an energy bomb up front, and with Beni’s dangerous runs added to the Eidhagens, Juan Pablo, Milos and David’s tireless team work and Can’s safe hands in goals the guys have won 3-0 to end the match day on a high! Well done guys!

Matchday two proved to be a difficult afternoon against strong opponents. In our opening game Jimmy put us ahead against the run of play with a well taken goal but it proved in vain as two late goals took the game away from us despite a battling display. Although we lost our remaining  games we were competitive and remained in contention until late in all of our matches. The boys who were led superbly by Stefan throughout stayed positive and gained significant experience and will surely benefit from each game.

3rd Match Day - 04.02.2018

We won all of our matches – what a day it was! Our youngest kids showed sometimes very mature football, I saw some great skills and team work all day. First we won against MFS with a great spirit and superb saves from Ion. Our second match was against the other Buda Juniors team where two great and very equal teams played against each other, all the parents and fans were excited and no one knew what’s gonna happen, it was Damjan who finally decided the thriller. Well played on both siedes! Our last performance was so much fun. Huni could score from the half way line, and we finished this match with a clean sheet with some great saves from Jimmy. Team B tops the standings after the first day of the play offs! Goal scorers of the day: Huni (4), Jimmy (2) & Damjan.

The team were eager to get the games underway and you could feel the nervous tension in the air not only from the players but also the parents. Each game was a close affair with very little between all the teams. Having had to settle for a draw in our opening encounter we knew our second game against our Buda Juniors brothers would be the deciding fixture. In a match that was a credit to Buda Juniors each and every player gave their best and played with determination and a smile on their faces. The game was settled by a cool finish from Damian and despite our best efforts we couldn't find the equalizer that the game probably deserved. Although we fell behind early on in the final game the team playing with confidence and panache finished with a flourish and ran out comfortable winners. Matchday three was an enjoyable day decided by the small details were one goal made all the difference but, in the end the clear winners were Buda Juniors FC.

4th Match Day - 03.03.2018

Buda Juniors FC „Black” – Buda Juniors FC „Blue” 0:1

The final day of our youngest WC group must be without a doubt the best start in Winter Cup history!

Inspired by a formidable, energetic, sublime, wonderful (not enough adjectives to describe his performance) Casper, this 2010/11 team went on to destroy the opposition 6-2. All 5 goals came from our German Torpedo who looked like he couldn’t miss and for instance had the Midas touch! This was backed up by a wonderful team performance that played with heart and great intensity.

The second game was the BJ derby and despite losing 0-1, it was a tight and tough match. Again, play was great with all players giving it all! Regardless of the result, it was impossible to wipe the smile of their faces.

The following match was split by the two BJ teams and again great attitude and commitment was given by both teams. The cherry on top was another BJ derby/friendly that brought out the spirit of what this club is! It all ended up with 9v9 and a great laugh not only for the kids, but the ref and parents! Perfect way to end a great day and tournament.

Our youngest age group player their last match day of the 2017/18 Winter Cup season. The guys have put in a great performance. The first game was an all-time classic against the Buda Juniors Blue Team. Jimmy scored the only goal in a very close contested game that could have gone either way! The second match showed the true spirit of these guys. It was 10 minutes of the game left with the Buda Juniors team 2-0 behind. Oscar scored to ignite a last minute 3-2 comeback! Two more friendly games followed against Marczibanyi and the Blue team. It was great day to round off a first season of matches for the boys! Well done guys!
