About us
Buda Juniors is an English-language, multi-national football club in Budapest, Hungary for children aged 4 to 19 years old. Run by Janos Banfi, a former Hungarian national team captain with 14 years experience of playing professional football and qualified with the UEFA coaching license, we play at Csilleberc in the Buda hills of the 12th district.

It was the first match day for our 2007 team at this year's Winter Cup. The guys have played 4 games out of which they drew one and lost three against good opponents. Some players made their debut, others are Winter Cup veterans by now, but eveybody did their bit. If the guys can be a bit more confident and do not let their spirits drop if the result does not go their way they will have much more success.

A Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde performance today from our young ones!
Fantastic matches to start off, with a 3-0 win and a close 2-4 loss. Back and forth action non-stop! All the players responded to the coach's instructions and put their lives on the line to try and protect or goal! It was a team performance offensively and most importantly defensively.
After the second match we had a two match break which gave our players too much free time! We came back to lose the last two games mainly because we didn't play a fraction of what we showed in the first two games.
Great performance all around from Silver, Matteo, Anton, Jonathan, Senne, Lander, Bende, Lukas!

Great improvement everyday with our young ones. From the first match day till today, makes you think "is this the same team?"
1st match
Crushing performance by our young ones. Lethal on the break!
However, nerves and over-excitement clouded their football responsibilities.... someone in the middle, talking, defending, etc. Room for improvement!
2nd match
Very convincing performance. Much better football wise as well! Lander was bored in goals which is always a wonderful sign!!!
3rd match
A tougher match which led to a great fight by our youngsters. It was a well-worked win. Just lacking this easy pass when it comes to goal kciks and kick-ins.
4th match 1-3 loss
A few defensive errors cost us the match, but overall a great performance once again. The improvement has been brilliant and their football spirit too.
Can't wait for their next match day!
