30.11.2014

Buda Juniors – Csillaghegyi MFS 0:2

Buda Juniors – MAC-MFS 7:0

Buda Juniors – Szent Pál Akadémia 1:1

Match 1

Being the first game they looked a bit nervous. They lacked the intensity and rhythm they show in trainings. They were aggressive without the ball, but never got the ball moving. Their keeper was great and was key to their win.
There was lack of communication and marking must be addressed.

Match2

Completely different performance compared to the first game. They came out ready to play and destroyed the other team. The score speaks for itself. Luca barely touched the ball.

Match 3

Fantastic team performance against a very good side. Defensively, every one gave 100%. Luca produced some great saves. Moved the ball well and created many chances to win the match. Great attitude by everyone. There is still a lack of communication. On occasions during the match, I had to tell them to mark up; things they should be doing by themselves (awareness).

Overall review

There is no reason why they should not have won all 3 matches. They played very well and showed great improvement from the last winter cup I supervised. Very happy with the teams attitude and performance.
They were happy too with how they played.

18.01.2015

Buda Juniors – Csillaghegyi MFS 1:5

Buda Juniors – Szent Pál Akadémia 7:1

Buda Juniors – MAC-MFS 4:1

Overall an improved performance since the previous match day. Although they had a nervous start, they bounced back nicely to comprehensively qualify to the playoffs.
At times there was great ball movement and the team played very good football.
There were a few defensive mishaps due to lack of communication. They must realize that only by talking will they defend properly from a corner and kick-ins (they need to grasp this quickly). GOAL SIDE marking!
Similarly, when it comes to kick-ins more communication is needed to help the kicker realize a player is free. From kick-ins positional play could be improved by constantly having a player down the line, one in the middle and one back trying to give a many options as possible, but would rely on movement and again on communication.
They are adopting well the diamond formation and attacking wise I have no major remarks. They just need to understand that when they do not have the ball, positions and communication are very important to not concede goals and recover the ball quickly.
Great attitude by everyone that showed up.

31.01.2015

Buda Juniors – Hegyvidék UFC 1:3

Buda Juniors – Csillaghegyi MFS 2:2

Buda Juniors – Pilisvörösvár 2:4

14.02.2015

Buda Juniors – Hegyvidék UFC 0:4

Buda Juniors – Pilisvörösvár 0:5

Buda Juniors – Csillaghegyi MFS 1:2

Overall very disappointing day for the 2005s. Everyone on the team performed very poorly. None of them even played a little percentage of what they are capable of in training and previous WC games.
Buda Juniors lost all three matches and only managed to score 1 goal in 60 mins. The ball never moved properly and passing never got over 3. Very little movement and rhythm throughout the whole day. Poor marking and communication was inexistent. To conclude, a very frustrating day.
