29.11.2014

Buda Juniors – Csillaghegyi MFS 2:0 (Yussef, Alex)

Buda Juniors – Tát 8:0 (Krzysztof 2, Matus 2, Yussef 2, Cedric)

Buda Juniors – Lábatlan 1:3 (Matus)

It was the first matchday for the 2003 age group. Seeing the guys in training we expected a lot from the boys. And they did not disappoint. Very attractive football sometimes but there is still a much work ahead.  Every player did his part and it was good to see that Buda Juniors looked like a TEAM.

From Patrick’s stability at the back to Matus’ work upfront it was a good performance including Yussef, Shunpei, Kiko, Krzysztof, Cedric and Alex. The last game was a good lesson for the boys but at the end that is the point! To learn and improve! All in all, well done guys!

17.01.2015

Buda Juniors – Csillaghegyi MFS 4:2

Buda Juniors – Lábatlan 4:2

Buda Juniors – Tát SE 8:1

It was the second match day for the 2003s. We did expect good football and high intensity and the guys did not dissapoint! Both the first and second game was made more difficult by our own mistakes, but when it looked a bit problematic the boys always got themselves out of trouble with some brilliant football. It was a proper team effort, everybody did his bit with Yussef being more prolific in front of goal then ever before. It was good to see how the individual talents were moulded into a solid team effort. Julian, Matus, Yussef, Cedric, Alex, Kryzisztof, Jake and Patrick. An exciting bunch to watch! Hopefully there is even more to come from them in the playoffs! Sometimes it’s hard to believe but trust me, there is still a lot left...

24.01.2015

Buda Juniors – Lábatlan 3-0

Buda Juniors – Szent Pál Akadémia 3-2

Buda Juniors – Pomázi Focisuli 1-3

It was the first matchday of the playoffs for the 2003s. With Kiko, Julian, Yussef all out for the day Patrick, Jake, Alex, Cedric and Matus had a tough afternoon.  It was one of the most mature performances ever by a Buda Juniors team. The guys understood how important it is to stick together as a team and wait for the opportunities patiently. Even when they were 2-0 down in the second match, there was no sign of panic and the guys managed to turn it around winning 3-2 at the end sending the very vocal Buda Juniors fans into rapture! What a performance it was?! One more matchday to go, anybody excited?!

07.02.2015

Buda Juniors – Lábatlan 6-0

Buda Juniors – Pomázi Focisuli 1-2

Buda Juniors – Szent Pál Akadémia 3-7

It was the last and decisive matchday of the playoffs for the 2003s. The guys started a bit nervous, (although Kryzisztof scored an acrobatic goal from Patrick’s goal kick) until the second goal when the nerves settled it was a difficult game. Once the second goal was scored the guys started to play their football finishing with 6 goals on the board. The second match was a very evenly contested one. After an unlucky own goal the guys came back and equalised but 2 minutes before the end the opposition punished for the missed chances. The third game was a proper football show with great goals on both ends. Matus, Kryzisztof and Cedric combined for one of the best goals of the tournament with the Belgian firing a volley just under the crossbar.

Exciting Winter Cup season for the guys, who can be proud of the 3rd overall place!
